Lorenzetti spoke at St. Petersburg International Legal Forum

This week, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, Ricardo Lorenzetti, participated in the Saint Petersburg International Legal Forum, which brings together delegates from 86 countries in order to “promote ideas for the modernization of law in conditions of global change”.

In the encounter, where Lorenzetti spoke about “Justice and equity in civil law”, judges from Croatia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Switzerland, Brazil, Sudan, Albania, France, Mongolia, Romania, Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Thailand, South Africa, Belarus, Slovakia, Pakistan, Austria, Montenegro, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hungary, among others, participated.

Later, Lorenzetti participated in a meeting in Moscow with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed between both courts, which was signed in 2007, in order to exchange experiences and contribute to greater effectiveness and strengthening of the Judiciary.
