Lorenzetti participated in a congress of Supreme Courts of Ibero-America in Spain

The president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Ricardo Lorenzetti, participated in the “International Congress of the Ibero-American Union of Universities and of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of Ibero-America: The protection of social rights in times of crisis.”

The meeting was held from May the 17th to 19th, 2017, at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.

Within the framework of the meeting, Lorenzetti participated in a meeting with King Felipe, which took place on the 18th of May, in the Zarzuela Palace. Also, there were other important figures who participated  in the event: the presidents of the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of Mexico, Brazil and Spain; the president of Banco de Santander, Ana Patricia Botín-Sanz de Sautuola O’Shea; the director Global Santander Universities and Universia, Javier Rogla Puig; and the rectors of the Complutense Universities of Madrid, Carlos Andradas Heranz; from the University of Barcelona, ​​Joan Elías i García; National Autonomous of Mexico, Enrique Graue Wiechers; Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo, Alberto Edgardo Barbieri and Raúl Machado, respectively.
